The annual fixture of the Blockers’ Lunch went ahead yesterday at Smith’s of Wapping, with nearly sixty attendees making the most of the informal networking opportunity, views of Tower Bridge and unlimited Picpoul.
Rivers Leasing rubbed shoulders with Liberty Leasing, Synergy, SFS, Datek, Compass Business Finance, Simply and Shire Funding, among others, for a long afternoon which blended into an evening just a quarter-mile further down the riverbank at the Town of Ramsgate pub.
We at Leasing World extend our thanks for the invitation to event founder Shaun Carroll, who promises to keep the gathering going as long as there is such strong demand for this simple and effective formula. One guest said, “No wine-glass rattling to get attention for speeches, no self-important messaging, just a bunch of people having the best time and not checking their watches!”
