2021 Blockers’ Lunch sold out

This year’s Blockers’ Lunch is now officially sold out. Shaun Carroll, Head of Block Discounting at Aldermore Bank Plc, tells us that unusually strong demand has led to the 2 December event filling up in record time.
Traditionally the Blockers’ Lunch has taken place upstairs in Hispania until late afternoon, but for 2021 the whole venue has been booked for the whole day .
If you’re among the lucky few to have secured a place at this year’s bigger, better Blockers’ Lunch, you’ll want to aim to arrive for the reception drinks between 12.00 and 13.30, enjoy a celebratory lunch through to late afternoon, then wind wind down with the 18.00 Cocktail Reception and canapes.
Shaun summarises: “Everything is upscaled from our previous events.”
Leasing World notes that the sample menu for the day includes pulpo a la pipirrana, so some translation skills may be useful on the day. We will be sure to drop by … the rapid responses to the invitations demonstrate how there’s a real appetite, not only for pulpo a la pipirrana but also for a return to the industry events we’ve missed for the past sixteen months!
