Job Title:: J2363 - IT Channel Account Manager - UK, Flexible - Asset Finance

Description

J2363 - Our client is seeking an IT Channel Account Manager to assume responsibility for a portfolio of assigned accounts for which you will have full ownership of managing and expanding the relationship with each account in order to achieve sales objectives. These accounts are located nationwide but the successful applicant will preferably be based in UK, South, South East, Thames Valley or Central England. Salary: To £60,000 plus excellent bonus and benefits. Location: UK, Flexible.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Manage the account relationship as the primary point of contact.
Engage at C-level with key decision-makers at the end-user to understand their business requirements and become a trusted advisor to the account.
Influence account strategies to maximise financing offerings to achieve sales target.
Influence the Request for Proposal criteria before formal RFP’s are issued to the market.
Further penetrate assigned accounts by identifying opportunity for add-on sales for all finance product capabilities.
Assume responsibility for the successful implementation of financing solutions and services as well as the on-going servicing of the account for the entire life cycle of the agreement.
Establish and manage relationships with key independent financial advisors who work with clients in the assigned territory.
Coach the sales teams on the benefits of financing to ensure they include financing solutions in all addressable proposals.
Maintain an accurate and timely updated pipeline and forecast.
Work with internal resources including sales management, marketing, lease administration, bundled solutions to win the business and provide the best customer service throughout the lifecycle of the solution.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Typically 5+ years’ lease finance sales experience, achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
Proven record of meeting and exceeding assigned quota.
University degree preferred.
Working with a Strategic Joint Business plan.
Selling at senior executive levels in large companies.
Successful negotiation of contracts.
Demonstrated leadership in situations without authority.
Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications.
In depth knowledge of financing and asset management industry offerings and able to differentiate business value from competitive offerings.

We strongly favour applicants with proven relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing.
